Among all aspects of our daily lives at SNC, Space for Nurturing Creativity, we take most seriously: creative exploratory learning in the pursuit of truth.

SNC is dedicated to the exploration and nurturing of the human brain, in order to develop to its fullest potential, towards the evolution of a fully creative society.

For life to be based on a foundation of truth, we consider holistic education to be that which not only enables the linking of all aspects of life (sustainability, holistic wellness, yoga, meditation, math, science, social-science, history, philosophy, music, arts, writing, communication etc), but also most importantly the means towards grasping a deeper understanding of all its reality.

relativelyLocal - Holistic Curriculum - Space for Nurturing Creativity

I stumbled upon this amazing place back in March 2011, by way of introduction by Jaya and Raja (former teachers at Ashram Paryavaran Vidyalaya) and being sent there by Anand Dwivedi (visionary at APV School). He had sent me there to deliver a donation to the school, telling me, “Go check out what they are doing for a few days.” I fell in love with the place, their lifestyle and their connection to each other as a collaborative community. I stayed there over 20 days, only returning to APV School upon Anand Ji’s request.

We initially discussed my splitting my time in thirds, spending one third year at APV, one third at SNC and one third at a new school Ananda Ji was planning to set up with his brother in their home village, Pavek. However the Universe had decided otherwise and set me up to stay there quite consistently from June 2011 – June 2012 for some of the most challenging and transformational times of my 80 months living in India (between 2010-2016). Currently I help out remotely, while I also continue to make visits: 2012, 2016, 2024, 2025.

Space for Nurturing Creativity, SNC – Holistic Education

Covering theories regarding classroom management, teaching methodologies, learning strategies, learner evaluation, our educational philosophy guides (both teachers and parents) how to best foster the sensitivity, creativity, curiosity, and exploration in a child.

Education should enable learners to not only make discoveries on their own, but also to develop the important life skills such as teamwork, collaboration and harmonious living through fostering positive relationships with themselves, with others as well as with nature.
